Current Projects
We are constantly working on a wide variety of projects including:
- Custom .NET CRM+
We've been working on a multi-year project to develop a customized CRM that also has some ERP components. It integrates large amounts of data from internal sources and public (e.g., CMS - Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) and private external sources to deliver a targeted and customized sales platform. It will soon integrate with ShoreTel VoIP phones to deliver advanced click-to-dial, recording and activity input so that sales coaches can improve their teams. It also integrates with O365 Outlook calendars and emails to deliver high-efficiency resource planning and allocation.
- Office 365 (O365) Conversions
We have recently migrated a number of clients from Exchange 2007, 2010 and 2013 to O365. We helped one for-profit client convert from Exchange 2010 to O365 E1, including the migration of roughly 150 mailboxes. We helped another non-profit client migrate using a mixture of non-profit E1 and the free O365 plans plus TechSoup purchases because it delivered everything they needed at a significantly lower price point. The bottom line is one size does NOT fit all and a little bit of advance planning by experts in both cases saved a lot of money in the long run.
- Ubiquiti Unifi WiFi
The use of wireless LAN in organizations is, well, ubiquitous. The Ubiquiti product line delivers outstanding performance and security at a tremendous value. We are in the process of deploying a multi-building campus WLAN for a long-time client who reports far fewer wireless tickets than with the previous Cisco system.
- Network Infrastructure update
One of our clients was quoted by their former consultant group for an all-Cisco network replacement. The cost was exorbitant because high-end Cisco gear was overkill for their size and budget. We are now their consultant group and mixed a few key pieces of Cisco gear with mostly Dell gear to deliver 95% of the robustness and capabilities at 40% of the price.
- McKesson Horizon HomeHealth and Hospice (electronic medical records)
We are currently implementing McKesson for a multi-state home health and hospice agency. It is the hosted or SaaS offering, called McKesson Connection. The field devices are Panasonic Toughbook C1 convertible tablets. After several months of heavy use by around 120 nurses and skilled staff, so far none has had any breakage issues.
